Much to Elon Musk’s chagrin, Twitter rival Threads has crossed 100 million sign-ups and it’s been just five days since the micro-blogging website was launched.
Launched by Meta, CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to Threads to announce that the steep climb to a 100 million was “mostly organic” and without much promotion.
It was only on Friday Zuckerberg announced that the app had crossed 70 million sign-ups, which he said was “way beyond our expectations.”
