Architecture Billings Index Shows Decrease in April, Tough Environment for Design Firms

Business conditions softened at architecture firms in April, as the AIA/Deltek Architecture Billings Index score fell back into negative territory. Excluding the slight growth seen in March, billings at architecture firms have declined every month since last October.
