Serpentinized dunite of Oman ophiolite
In this study, we perform super-resolution of X-ray CT images for serpentinized dunite within the crust-mantle transition zone of the Oman ophiolite, which were suffered from the various stages of hydrothermal alteration. The Oman ophiolite is the best exposed section of oceanic lithosphere, and is located at the southearstern margin of Arabian Peninsula. The ophiolite is composed of pillow to massive submarine basalt, sheeted dike complex, cummulates and gabbros, and upper mantle rocks (dunite and harzburgite30,31).
