Figure 2 shows typical debonding of Innegra and carbon interfaces for Innegra-carbon hybrids 2IC and 2IS respectively. The origin and progression of failure was along the Innegra-carbon layer interface. Figure 3 illustrates the onset and progression of failure. Figure 4 illustrates brittle failure of the 3DEP–3D/67 specimen. This failure mode is in contrast to the ductile failure for 2IC and 2IS respectively.
