We conducted a series of current scans using the cAFM, operating in contact mode, with dimensions of 2.5 × 2.5 µm2. The scans were carried out as follows: a read scan was performed at 0.5 V (Fig. 6a), a write scan was done at 5 V (Fig. 6b), followed by another read scan at 0.5 V (Fig. 6c), an erase scan was executed at − 8 V (Fig. 6d), and lastly, a final read scan was carried out at 0.5 V (Fig. 6e).
