Response of nanoring arrays

The devices studied here consist of arrays of 10 nm thick Ni₈₀Fe₂₀ (Permalloy, Py) nanorings, patterned into a square lattice with each ring having nominal diameters of 4μm and track widths of 400 nm, each overlapping with its nearest neighbours across 50% of their track widths^35,36. The arrays were fabricated by electron beam lithography with lift-off processing and metallised via thermal evaporation.
