According to an accepted manuscript published in ARRS’ own American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR), deep learning–based computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) for breast lesion classification on ultrasound significantly improved radiologists’ diagnostic performance—particularly for reducing the frequency of benign breast biopsies.
