According to the study design, the estimated amount of blood loss per one experiment was at least 115 mL (For first sub-experiment; 45 mL, 11 blood samples, for second sub-experiment; 70 mL, 20 blood samples) plus 30 mL (for additional blood sampling due to the test errors).
