Extractive-liquid sampling electron ionization-mass spectrometry (E-LEI-MS): a new powerful combination for direct analysis

Several prototype adjustments were tried before achieving the final configuration. Several operating parameters were considered, such as capillary dimensions, aspiration rate, solvent delivery mode, type of valve used as an on/off device, and sampling mode.
